VIEW LARGER University of Arizona Wildcat guard, Caleb Love, defends against USC's Isaiah Collier in their first game in the 2024 Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament. The University of Arizona continues its runs of sending two teams to the NCAA basketball tournaments.
The Wildcat men were announced as the #2 seed in the West bracket Sunday afternoon. They will take on #15 seed Long Beach State in Salt Lake City on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Arizona time.
The Wildcat women will be one of the teams taking part in the First Four games. They will face Auburn University for the right to be the #11 seed in Region 3 on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in Storrs, Connecticut.
The winner of that game faces Syracuse University.
The UA men's team has made the tournament for three straight years now, and has yet to miss the tournament under Head Coach Tommy Lloyd. They exited in the first round in 2023 after a Sweet 16 run the year before.
The UA women's team has made the tournament for the fourth straight year. It has lost in the second round the last two years after making a surprise run to the national championship game in 2021.
