AZ WEEK: English Language Education Gets Court OK

How does the state teach English? What does ruling mean in 2-decade-old case?

A federal appeals court ruled this week that Arizona's method for teaching English language learners is OK.

The decision stemmed from a case filed in 1992 on behalf of children in the Nogales school district. Arizona Week Friday looks at the implications for school districts and teachers.
