Senate Bill 1023 adds illegal lane use, and right of way violations at intersections and highway entrances to the list of moving violations punishable by license suspension when a person is injured. Currently, Arizona law allows a court the option of suspending a license on a second offense. SB 1023 would require the suspension. The proposal is sponsored by four members of the legislature, including Tucson Representative Nancy Young Wright (D) and Tucson Senator Paula Aboud (D)
